Energy Conservation Loans finance energy-efficiency improvements for low- and moderate-income homeowners. This program is funded by the State of Connecticut Department of Housing (DOH) and is administered by C4C. These loans finance improvements up to $35,000 at an interest rate between 0% - 3%, depending on household income.
Credit exceptions and deferred payment options may be available to income-eligible applicants who do not meet the standard eligibility criteria, but have an emergency situation requiring immediate repair.
Eligibility

Applicants must own and occupy a single or 2-4 family home (includes condos and mobile homes) in the State of Connecticut.
