Grants are available to eligible participants of the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) Time-To-Own (TTO) mortgage program to make necessary home improvements. This program is funded by the State of Connecticut Department of Housing (DOH) and is administered by Capital For Change, Inc. (C4C). Eligible TTO participants may apply online after receiving an invitation letter from CHFA.  
Eligibility​

• Must have a valid invitation letter from CHFA

• Must occupy the property as your primary residence

• Taxes and insurance for the property must be current

• TTO Mortgage must be in good standing

Grant Terms

• Up to $25,000

• Improvements must be approved by C4C

• Projects that are underway or completed will not qualify for the program

• All work must be completed by a C4C Participating Contractor (link)
